Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Centres Pty is seeking a part-time kitchen assistant to support the Centre Chef in preparing nutritious meals and purees for children, including babies, in a lively early learning environment.

You will work closely with educators to deliver culinary activities, ensure high food safety standards, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly during morning shifts in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Food safety and hygiene knowledge required.
• Childcare-specific checks and clearances mandatory.
• First Aid/CPR certification current and up to date.
• Police clearance within last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Chef in preparing nutritious meals and purees for babies and children.
• Provide culinary classes alongside Educators.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen per Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves standards.
• Support the kitchen operations with strong time management and communication.
