Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Centres Pty is seeking a kitchen support role to work alongside our Centre Chef and Educators. You will help prepare nutritious meals, follow dietary requirements, and run culinary activities while ensuring top food safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires a current Food Safety Certificate, a state Working with Children Check, a Police Clearance within 6 months, and valid First Aid/CPR. Availability of 20–25 hours weekly is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Food Safety Certificate.
• State Working with Children Check is required.
• National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (HLTAID012).
• Availability for 20–25 hours per week.
• Willingness to cover early shifts 6:30 am–2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Chef in preparing nutritious meals and purees according to dietary needs.
• Lead culinary activities alongside the Centre Chef and Educators.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety per Food Authority and Green Leaves standards.
• Support kitchen operations and time management to ensure smooth daily service.
