Job summary

Aegis Aged Care Melville is seeking a Hospitality and Housekeeping team member to help create a safe, clean, welcoming home for residents and assist with meal preparation and service.

You will maintain hygiene, follow infection control, support meal service, and collaborate with the care team to ensure residents receive high-quality care in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role (preferably in Healthcare Industry).
• Experience in food preparation and cooking for large number of people.
• A knowledge of food safety.
• Full Australian working rights and able to pass national police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
• Following infection control procedures and the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of resident meals in accordance with dietary and care plans.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Ensuring correct food handling and food safety practices are always followed.
• Working collaboratively with the Cook/Chef Manager and the wider care team.
