Job summary

Aegis St Michael’s in North Perth, WA is seeking a dedicated Hospitality and Housekeeping professional to help create a safe, clean, and welcoming home for residents. The role covers meal preparation and service, cleaning, and adherence to infection control and food safety standards.

You will work with the Cook/Chef Manager and care team, supporting residents daily with dignity and respect, and ensuring high standards across kitchen and dining areas. Full Australian working rights preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in Healthcare Industry).
• Experience in food preparation and cooking for large number of people.
• A knowledge of food safety.
• Full Australian working rights and able to pass national police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
• Following infection control procedures and the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of resident meals in accordance with dietary and care plans.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Ensuring correct food handling and food safety practices are always followed.
• Working collaboratively with the Cook/Chef Manager and the wider care team.
