Job summary

Canterbury League Club is seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Attendants to join our busy kitchen team in Sydney. This role focuses on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment and supporting a fast-paced hospitality operation.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a high-volume kitchen, a Safe Food Handling Certification, and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team. A 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have full working rights in Australia.
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Safe Food Handling Certification.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness in line with standards.
• Assist Chef team with preparation and general duties.
• Ensure safe work practices including WHS.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing facilities and equipment.
• Demonstrate understanding of food safety and WHS standards.

About The Role

• Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen in line with Canterbury’s standards of excellence
• Assisting the Chef team with preparation and general kitchen duties
• Ensuring safe work practices with a particular focus on Work, Health and Safety
• Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing facilities and associated kitchen equipment
• Demonstrate understanding of food safety and Work, Health and Safety standards
