Job summary

ibis Adelaide is seeking an entry level Kitchen Attendant / Kitchen Steward to join our busy hotel operations. You will work with a supportive team to keep kitchens clean, wash dishes, and learn basic food preparation duties in a dynamic hospitality environment.

This role offers learning opportunities, attention to detail, and a pathway to grow within Accor's ibis brand. Ideal candidates are energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about guest experience.

Qualifications

• Organized, safety-minded and a great team player.
• Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene; Basic Food Safety Certificate is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes operating commercial dishwasher
• Wash pots and pans by hand
• Assisting with basic food preparation duties with opportunities to learn
• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitising of all surfaces
• Keeping floors and work areas, clean and clear of hazards and obstruction
• Responsible operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.

Job Description

This is an entry level position with an opportunity to be part of something bigger.

As a Kitchen Attendant / Kitchen Steward, you will work as part of a team to keep the hotel kitchens and washing up areas clean and tidy, with great opportunity to learn and expand your skills.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, have attention to detail, and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Washing dishes operating commercial dishwasher
