Job summary

ibis Styles in Brisbane is seeking a friendly Room Attendant to join our welcoming team. You will clean guest rooms, replenish supplies, and report any issues to maintain our high standards.

This part-time/casual role includes weekend, evening, and overnight shifts as needed, with mobility and fitness needed to manage busy periods in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Friendly nature, willing to communicate with guests.
• Conversational English is highly preferred as you will be talking to guests and taking instructions.
• Good mobility to ensure clean and tidy rooms for guests in the allocated timeframe.
• This role involves manual labour, heavy lifting and constant repetitive actions, all in a fast-paced environment. A moderate level of fitness is required to be successful in this rewarding role.

• Ensuring guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.

This is a part-time or a casual role which may include some overnight shifts if required to support the team.

The hotel operates 24/7 and you will be required to work across weekends, evenings, overnights, public holidays as required.
