Job summary

Pullman & Mercure King George Square in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward to support a busy culinary team. You will rinse, wash and store dishes, maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards.

The role requires rostering across early mornings, late evenings and weekends, with opportunities to grow within Australia’s largest hospitality employer – Accor’s Pullman brand.

Qualifications

• Motivated & committed to work with our passionate team.
• Commercial dishwashing experience (desirable).
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• An understanding on stock management and general kitchen cleaning skills.
• Adhere to safe work practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Have a good work ethic and be a team player with a flexible attitude.
• The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends.

• Wash pots by hand
• Ensure that all F&B outlets are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment
• Use correct handling techniques to transport and store food items
• Wipe down benches

Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travelers.
