Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Busselton on the Busselton Foreshore seeks a Kitchen Steward to support chefs and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas. You will clean and sanitise equipment, assist with stock storage, and follow food safety procedures.

Weekend and public holiday availability is required, and you will help during busy service periods while upholding Hilton’s high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen steward or hygiene role is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to follow Hilton's safety and cleanliness procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, cookware, crockery, cutlery, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to Hilton standards.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of our kitchen and food service areas. You will support our chefs and food & beverage team by ensuring kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean and ready for service.
