Job summary

Holiday Inn is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness of kitchens, equipment and storage areas while supporting our Culinary and Restaurants & Bars teams in delivering high guest satisfaction. You will help ensure health, hygiene and food safety, keep stores tidy, and assist with goods receipt.

This role emphasises teamwork and safe handling of cleaning equipment. Applicants should have valid work rights in Australia and be comfortable lifting up to 30 kg.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchenhand or stewarding preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 30 kg safely.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchens and storage areas clean and well-stocked.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling rules.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Work as a team and communicate clearly.
• Plan and organise daily tasks for productivity.
• Assist with food prep and maintain equipment.
• Support F&B and other departments when needed.
• Report hazards and promote eco-friendly practices.
