Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Gympie Aquatic Centre is seeking a proactive Kiosk Coordinator to lead the cafe team and drive sales while delivering first-class service to patrons.

The role includes day-to-day operations, health and safety compliance, cash handling, POS use, and promoting healthy options, with shifts mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Lead, coach and inspire a cafe team to meet targets and KPIs.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to food safety plans and health guidelines.
• Cash handling and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR, Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cafe team to achieve sales targets and maintain standards.
• Provide information on product range and promote healthy options.
• Maintain appearance and presentation of the cafe.
• Replenish condiments and ensure cleanliness per quality standards.
• Meet food safety requirements and follow safety guidelines.
• Handle cash, take orders and operate POS systems.
• Promote centre services and build good patron relations.
• Work mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Kiosk Coordinator to drive the team to achieve our sales targets. In this hands-on role, you will participate in the day-to-day operation of the café to achieve budgeted sales targets and KPIs.

Reporting to our Customer Service Manager, our Kiosk Coordinator needs to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of our Kiosk Coordinator is to deliver first class service to our patrons ensuring the kiosk operates effectively and efficiently within Health Department Regulations. Always aligning yourself with our Mission, Vision and Values.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Ability to lead, coach and inspire a cafe team
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Meet the requirements of the centre's food safety plan
• Ensure all cleaning and maintenance is carried out according to specified quality standards
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
