Job summary

Rexel Adelaide is seeking an experienced Key Major Accounts team member to join our internal sales group. You will be the primary contact for major accounts, working closely with Territory Sales Managers to deliver exceptional service, quotes, orders and ongoing account support.

You will build strong relationships with commercial clients in electrical, data and communications sectors, provide timely quotes, process orders, and respond to inquiries to drive repeat business while upholding Rexel's

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales, internal sales, account management or a customer-focused commercial role.
• Confident communicating with customers by phone, email and in person.
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on achieving sales outcomes.
• Organised and able to manage multiple customer requests, quotes and orders.
• Responsive, proactive and committed to following through on customer requirements.
• Customer-focused with a genuine desire to deliver an exceptional experience.
• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a busy environment.
• Motivated to learn and develop product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the key branch contact for designated major accounts and supporting the Territory Sales Managers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial customers across electrical and data & communications sectors.
• Preparing accurate and competitive quotes in a timely manner.
• Processing customer orders and ensuring they are managed through to completion.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and other channels.
• Providing product information, availability, pricing and order updates.
• Following up quotes and identifying opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales information in relevant systems (PRONTO).
• Providing exceptional customer service and a high level of account support.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative and safety-focused branch culture.
