Job summary

Rexel Adelaide is seeking an experienced Key Major Accounts team member to join our internal sales group. You will act as the primary branch contact for major accounts, support Territory Sales Managers, and build strong relationships with commercial customers across electrical and data/communications sectors.

You will prepare quotes, process orders, answer inquiries, and provide product information while sustaining high service levels and accurate CRM data.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales, internal sales, account management or a customer-focused commercial role.
• Confident communicating with customers by phone, email and in person.
• Commercially minded, with a strong focus on achieving sales outcomes.
• Organised and able to manage multiple customer requests, quotes and orders.
• Responsive, proactive and committed to following through on customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key branch contact for designated major accounts and support the Territory Sales Managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers across electrical and data/communications sectors.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes in a timely manner.
• Process customer orders and manage through to completion.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and other channels.
• Provide product information, availability, pricing and order updates.
• Follow up quotes and identify opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in systems (PRONTO).
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative branch culture and safety-focused environment.
