CGU, part of Insurance Australia Group (IAG), is seeking a Key Account Manager for Workers’ Compensation. The role is permanent and full-time, based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Boorloo (Perth).

You’ll manage broker relationships, drive retention, and collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to achieve excellent customer outcomes. You’ll bring insurance experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and deep workers’ compensation knowledge to support underwriting decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or similar client facing roles.
• Confidence influencing and engaging stakeholders, including senior leaders and brokers.
• Strong industry knowledge to support underwriting decisions and pricing.
• Ability to balance improvement initiatives with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience delivering strategic engagement and service plans that drive growth and retention.
• Clear, confident communication tailored for varied audiences.

• Build strong relationships with brokers and policyholders to bring our value proposition to life.
• Manage and grow a diverse portfolio by driving retention and new business opportunities.
• Partner with Underwriting, Claims and Broker teams for seamless, joined-up experiences.
• Use Workers' Compensation expertise to support quality underwriting and claims management.
• Advocate for your portfolio to keep teams focused on priorities and reduce non-core activities.
• Deliver exceptional service to lift satisfaction and strengthen loyalty.
