The Opportunity

As a Junior or Intermediate Accountant, you\'ll play a key role in the ongoing growth of our Wollongong practice. You\'ll work closely with experienced Partners and senior team members who genuinely invest in your development.

Position Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
  • Offer support and training to team members
About You
  • 1-3 years\' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Accounting or similar
  • Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
