Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Experience with MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• Desire to grow into a senior role within a supportive and high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team to ensure client work is timely and accurate.
• Lead in preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for various entities.
• Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
• Be coached by a Partner to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Provide exceptional service and participate in training seminars and team meetings.

Your Role

You will work closely with experienced professionals, develop strong technical foundations, and gradually take on greater responsibility managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of entities
• Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
• Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events

What You Bring

• 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Experience with platforms such as MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks, or the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
