Job summary

Kelly+Partners KDA Partnership in Bowral is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join a supportive, growth‑oriented team. You will develop technical capability across compliance and client management while taking on increasing responsibility as you work alongside experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a chartered accounting practice.
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Taking the lead in preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
• Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG obligations for a variety of entities.
• Preparing annual workers’ compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
• Working directly with an experienced Partner, with the aim of gradually managing a diverse client portfolio.
• Liaising with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
• Participating in training seminars, team meetings and social events.

Kelly+Partners KDA Partnership is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join the team in Bowral. This position is suited to an accountant who is looking to strengthen their technical capability, gain broader client exposure and take on greater responsibility within a supportive environment. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will continue developing your skills across compliance and client management while building towards the next stage of your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed accurately and within required timeframes

What You’ll Bring

• At least two years’ experience within a chartered accounting practice
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies

• Experience using platforms such as MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero or QuickBooks, or the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client service
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to learning, new technology and continuous improvement
• A genuine desire to develop professionally and progress into a more senior accounting role
