Job summary

Hoz Construction is seeking a Junior Foreman to join our team delivering premium residential and multi-residential projects across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Working directly under the Site Manager, you will take responsibility for areas of the project and help drive day-to-day site delivery.

You must be confident with set-out, levels, trade coordination and sequencing, and capable of managing subcontractors and progressing works with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' construction experience in high-end residential or multi-residential projects.
• Confident with set-out and levels.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Experience coordinating and supervising multiple trades.
• Organised, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Ambition to progress into a Site Manager role.

Junior Foreman

The Role

Hoz Construction is looking for an experienced Junior Foreman to join our team delivering premium residential and multi-residential projects across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Working directly under the Site Manager, you will take responsibility for areas of the project and help drive day-to-day site delivery.

You must be confident with set-out, levels, trade coordination and sequencing, and capable of managing subcontractors and progressing works without constant direction.

This is a hands-on site management role with genuine responsibility.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day project delivery
• Independently carry out set-out and levels
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors
• Manage trade sequencing and daily site activities
• Take ownership of designated areas and stages of the build
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and services drawings
• Identify and resolve coordination issues on site

About You

• 5+ years’ construction experience, ideally across high-end residential or multi-residential projects
• Strong carpentry or construction background preferred
• Confident and experienced with set-out and levels
• Able to read and work confidently from construction drawings
• Experience coordinating and supervising multiple trades
• Comfortable giving direction and holding subcontractors accountable
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently
• High attention to detail and quality
• Ambition to progress into a Site Manager role

You don’t need to already be a Site Manager, but you need to be capable of taking genuine responsibility on site from day one.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine Junior Foreman position with a clear pathway to Site Manager.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Site Manager while taking responsibility for your own areas of the project. As your capability grows, so will your responsibility.
