DSC Personnel is seeking a motivated Junior Site Manager for a large residential project at Curl Curl, NSW. You will support the Construction Manager, focus on site management, safety, reporting, and trade coordination, and work with the Foreman on structural works.

Qualifications

• Construction management qualification or relevant construction industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a site management, project coordination or construction supervision role advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with subcontractors and consultants.
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow project procedures.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues.
• Ability to work as part of a management team while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Current White Card.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall day-to-day management of the project.
• Monitor and coordinate site activities and trade contractors.
• Manage site safety and ensure contractors comply with site requirements.
• Complete and maintain daily site reports.
• Monitor trade progress against the project program.
• Track trade completions, outstanding works and quality requirements.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure works are completed efficiently and in the correct sequence.
• Monitor compliance with the requirements of the Construction Certificate (CC) and relevant consent conditions.
• Manage and monitor the Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) requirements.
• Identify and communicate delays, site issues and potential project risks.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and the broader project team as required.
• Assist the Construction Manager with project coordination, programming and reporting.
• Attend weekly site meetings to review progress, quality and budget.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Junior Site Manager to join our clients team on a large residential construction project at Curl Curl.

This position is suited to someone with a construction management background who is looking to develop his experience in the management and coordination of a major project.

A Foreman is currently engaged on the project and will be responsible for the structural works. The successful candidate will therefore focus primarily on site management, safety, compliance, reporting, trade coordination and project administration.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Junior Site Manager will report directly to the Construction Manager and work alongside the existing Foreman responsible for structural works. Weekly site meetings will be held with the Construction Manager to review project progress, trade performance, quality, program and budget.
