Job summary

Field Mining Services in Brisbane is seeking a Projects Engineer / Contracts Coordinator to support delivery of concrete batching project work across Australia. You will work with operations, suppliers and customers to ensure contractual requirements and milestones are met.

This entry-level to early-career role offers exposure to project planning, contract administration, procurement and commercial management, with potential progression to a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline (desirable).
• Proactive, well organised with strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel to support active projects across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of projects from handover to commissioning.
• Prepare and administer project contracts and documentation.
• Review contracts, scopes of work and commercial requirements.
• Monitor schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Support variations, extensions of time, progress claims and invoicing.
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting and budget management.
• Coordinate procurement, RFQs, POs and supplier communications.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors on schedules and deliveries.
• Maintain project records and reports.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
