Job summary

Lendlease is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team to deliver a long-term construction project. You will play an integral role in managing subcontractors and suppliers, developing construction programs, and implementing procurement strategies.

The successful candidate will have 4–7 years in construction, on-site delivery experience, and a relevant engineering or construction management degree, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Ideally 4–7 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building construction projects (Commercial, residential, defence and healthcare).
• Previous on-site construction delivery experience, looking after major trade packages.
• Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
• Design management and coordination.
• Client management and liaison.
• Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
• Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
• Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
• Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.

Education

Degree qualification in a relevant field (Engineering, Construction Management etc)
