Job summary

PrimeBatch, proudly supported through FMS Group, seeks a proactive Projects Engineer / Contracts Coordinator to help manage contracting, procurement and project delivery across Australia. This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career engineer looking to grow in project management.

Working with the Operations Manager and project teams, you will develop skills in planning, cost control, documentation and stakeholder engagement, with a view to advancing to a Project Manager position.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline (desirable).
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel to support active projects across Australia.
• Experience with contract administration, procurement or commercial processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of projects from handover through commissioning and close-out.
• Prepare, maintain and administer project contracts, documentation and correspondence.
• Review customer contracts, scopes of work, drawings, specifications and commercial requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and key deliverables; manage variations and progress claims.
• Assist with project cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management.
• Coordinate procurement activities and supplier communications.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate schedules and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate project records and document control systems.
• Identify risks and develop practical solutions with stakeholders.
• Represent PrimeBatch with clients to promote equipment and services.
