Job summary

Forefront Recruitment Pty is seeking a junior PC/CA to join a tight-knit Geelong team delivering fit-outs, D&C projects and new builds, with a salary range of $70k to $100k plus super depending on experience.

You'll work across contract administration, procurement, estimating and project delivery, developing into a well-rounded Project Manager as you gain responsibility within the group.

This is an opportunity to join a smaller Geelong team delivering fit-outs, D&C projects and new builds from $70k to $6m. You'll get the close-knit feel and access to senior people that comes with a smaller business, while benefiting from the backing, systems and pipeline of the wider group.

You'll start at a junior PC/CA level, with a clear opportunity to develop into a well-rounded Project Manager. The role is deliberately broad, giving you experience across contract administration, procurement, estimating and project delivery rather than keeping you in one lane.

You'll work closely with the young GM of the business and experienced construction professionals who will help you take on more responsibility as you develop. You'll also gain exposure to D&C projects within the group's developer arm, giving you another side of the construction process to learn from.

The variety of work is a big part of the opportunity. From smaller fit-outs through to larger new builds, you'll see different stages and styles of construction while working predominantly on projects around Geelong.

The culture is built around teamwork and development. Training, regular catch-ups and reviews are all part of it, alongside team lunches, birthdays, footy tipping and celebrating project wins.

You might already be a junior PC or CA, or a construction cadet ready for your next step. The business is also open to people coming from different building sectors, provided you have relevant experience with a building head contractor. Commercial, fit-out, apartments and custom residential backgrounds will all be considered. Civil and volume residential experience will not be considered for this role.

The salary range is $70k to $100k + super, depending on experience.
