Job summary

Aspect Personnel is partnering with a well-established Geelong-based builder seeking a Contract Administrator to manage end-to-end contract administration across multiple government and community projects. The role collaborates closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and HSEQ to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a stable tenure, experience with AS4000/AS4902, and comfort leading procurement, cost reporting and risk management within a growing regional pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CA or Senior CA on commercial/government/community builder projects of comparable scale.
• Strong working knowledge of standard form contracts (AS4000, AS4902 or similar).
• Stable tenure with previous employers and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts end-to-end across multiple concurrent projects.
• Prepare, review and negotiate head contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Manage progress claims, variations, EOTs and cost reporting.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, tendering and ongoing management.
• Track budgets and deliver monthly cost reporting to the Regional Manager.
• Manage contractual risk, disputes and correspondence, and mentor junior CAs.

About the Role

A well-established construction business with a strong regional footprint is seeking a Contract Administrator to join its Geelong team. You'll manage contract administration end-to-end across multiple concurrent government and community projects, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and HSEQ.

Skills & Experience

Must-have:

• Proven experience as a CA or Senior CA with a similar-sized commercial or government/community builder on projects of comparable scale ($5-20M)
• Strong working knowledge of standard form construction contracts (AS4000, AS4902 or similar)
• Stable, solid tenure with previous employers i.e. no job-hopping
• A team-first, adaptable attitude with genuine career ambition

Nice-to-have:

• Confidence across JobPac, MS 365, Procure Pro, and exposure to Procore, Aconex, Bluebeam, CUBIT or EstimateOne.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
