Verra Recruitment is partnering with Melbourne-based commercial builders to source Contract Administrators and Project Coordinators for a growing portfolio of mid-tier projects in the city.

Opportunities span from Junior/ Intermediate CA through to Senior CA/PC, with exposure to preconstruction, procurement, and delivery across education, aged care and commercial sectors. Mentoring and career development are emphasized within a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator from a commercial head contractor.
• Exposure across project delivery and preconstruction.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Subcontractor procurement, tender comparisons and trade packages.
• Contracts, variations, progress claims and project documentation.
• Commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control.
• Coordination with project teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Design coordination, shop drawings and document control where required.
• Support roles across both administration and delivery on assign projects.

We are currently partnering with established commercial builders across Melbourne who are looking to strengthen their project and commercial teams.

With strong pipelines of secured work, opportunities are available for Contract Administrators and Project Coordinators at varying levels of experience.

The Role

Depending on your experience, you will work closely with Project Managers, Senior CAs and site teams across the commercial and contractual delivery of projects.

Roles range from Junior / Intermediate CA positions through to more experienced CA / PC opportunities with greater project ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Subcontractor procurement, tender comparisons and trade packages

• Commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control
• Coordination with project teams, consultants and subcontractors
• Design coordination, shop drawings and document control where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator from a commercial head contractor
• Experience from Junior / Intermediate CA through to established CA / PC level
• Commercial construction experience highly regarded
• Exposure to education, aged care, commercial or similar projects beneficial
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail
