Job summary

Moran Health Care Group seeks a Junior People and Culture Advisor to support managers and employees with regulatory compliance, onboarding, and HR processes at Moran Head Office. You will work closely with the People and Culture team to deliver projects and provide generalist HR advice.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in tertiary qualification including Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent practical experience.
• Customer focused with a positive and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Tech savvy with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
• Well organised and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Providing general advice and support to managers and employees on regulatory compliance, work conditions, Enterprise agreement and contracts.
• Providing support to managers and employees in relation to guidance on MHCG People and Culture policies, programs and best practices.
• Providing assistance to managers in respect of employee performance improvement / management and assist in drafting and preparing letters of performance improvement, performance management and terminations.
• Supporting the People and Culture Senior Advisor and key stakeholders with administration and general day-to-day generalist Human Resources advice.
• Use corporate systems to maintain employee records and process personnel actions.
• Assisting with recruitment and selection process including advertising of roles, initial culling of applications, telephone, or face to face interviews and reference checks.
• Responsible for the new employee placements, onboarding and complete employee paperwork ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Issue letters and contracts of employment.
• Assist in the delivery of People and Culture initiatives
