Job summary

Dahlsens Building Centres Pty is seeking a Jig Setter to join our Truss & Frame manufacturing team in Cairns, QLD. This key role focuses on setting up and maintaining jig equipment to ensure efficient, accurate production, with opportunities to assist across production areas as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in truss manufacturing or timber production, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to read measurements and production plans.

• Experience in truss manufacturing or timber production is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Hands-on work and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and production plans.

Responsibilities

• Set up truss jigs to production specifications.
• Read and interpret production drawings and layouts.
• Ensure accuracy and quality throughout manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup issues.
• Assist with truss and frame production as required.
• Support workflow across the plant and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
