Job summary

Finlayson’s Timber and Hardware is seeking experienced Truss Makers, Framers and Saw Operators for our Zillmere site. These casual roles offer steady weekday work with the potential for ongoing hours in a supportive team.

You will manufacture trusses and frames to specification, read plans, operate saws and production equipment safely, and contribute to quality across all finished products while adhering to workspace safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in truss, frame and/or saw operations.
• Background in carpentry or construction (highly regarded).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture trusses and frames to specification.
