Job summary

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is recruiting for a Production Team Member at our Ulladulla Truss & Frame plant. You will cut and assemble frames and roof trusses, following detailed drawings to produce accurate, high-quality products for Australia's home builders.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will operate and maintain plant equipment, perform manual handling, and contribute to a safe, efficient production line in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in frame and truss assembly or a similar manufacturing role (preferred).
• Experience in the timber and building industry (preferred).
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) (preferred).
• Proficiency in using a range of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to read detailed manufacturing drawings and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and assembling wall frames and roof trusses with precision.
• Work from detailed manufacturing drawings to produce frames and trusses.
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools and plant equipment.
• Maintain high attention to detail to meet Dahlsens quality standards.
• Manual handling of timber, plasterboard and other materials up to 25kg (40kg in dual lift).
• Read tape measures accurately and work to shop floor standards.
• Keep the plant clean, tidy and compliant with WHS standards.
• Report hazards and near misses promptly via Donesafe.
• Embed Dahlsens safety culture in daily tasks.
