Job summary

White Bay, an established Australian SaaS fintech provider, is seeking a Solution Technology Lead to champion technical delivery between eight offshore developers and a growing customer base. You’ll translate customer needs into scalable platform work and collaborate with Delivery Managers and the wider technology team.

This role is not pure architecture or project management; it sits at the intersection of customers, developers, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Background as a Java Technical Lead or similar.
• Strong Java and Spring/Spring Boot experience.
• Experience leading software developers technically and operationally.
• Solution design and architecture capability.
• API, integration and distributed systems experience.
• Experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams.
• Code review and engineering governance experience.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately eight offshore developers delivering integrations, enhancements and customer-specific development around the platform.
• Work closely with Delivery Managers, Portfolio Management and the wider technology team to understand work coming, capacity required and team allocation.
• Be the senior technical voice in customer conversations.
