Salt is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to join a well-known Australian company with a global presence. This hybrid Sydney role focuses on defining, delivering, and governing IT solutions within a large transformation program.

You will lead design discussions, shape the enterprise architecture roadmap, and provide technical leadership to internal teams and external vendors. Experience in General Insurance is valued, with Azure/AWS cloud expertise and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in architecting modern and legacy solutions across technology domains (application, integration, cloud, data, infrastructure, security).
• End-to-end architecture skillset with breadth across domains.
• Excellent design documentation skills.
• Strong ability to influence decisions with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Defining, developing, and delivering IT solutions aligned with enterprise architecture strategy.
• Collaborating with enterprise architecture teams, delivery teams, and IT vendors.
• Delivering solutions as part of the IT enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Ensuring project scope and designs align with business stakeholders.
• Developing business cases for new projects and providing high-level solution designs.
• Providing technical leadership to third-party service suppliers / vendors.
