Job summary

Shred-X is seeking an ITAD Technician to join our operations team on Australia’s Gold Coast. You will process IT assets, e-waste, refurbishment, data destruction, and inventory management while maintaining safety and compliance. A forklift licence is welcomed but not essential.

You’ll work across ITAD, e-waste processing, and ecommerce activities to recover value from technology and responsibly manage e-waste. Join a team dedicated to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT, e-waste, or ITAD roles.
• fundamentals of computer hardware and networks.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse systems.
• Forklift licence encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming IT/e-waste assets with accurate records.
• Dismantle e-waste for recycling; identify assets for resale.
• Test, diagnose, refurbish and configure IT equipment.
• Securely erase data and prepare equipment for resale.
• Safely handle batteries and hazardous materials.
• Operate tools and forklifts as trained.
• Assist with on-site destruction and on-time job processing.
• Follow WHS and safety standards.
