Job summary

ActivateUTS is seeking an IT Systems and Support Engineer to provide frontline and escalated support while administering core business systems. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network and POS/EFTPOS issues, while managing AD, Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 tenant.

You will work on campus at Ultimo with full‑time, on‑site duties for the initial six months, with potential for work‑from‑home arrangements by agreement after probation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ IT support and systems administration experience.
• Hands-on with POS/EFTPOS, CRM and ERP systems.
• Strong AD Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Security-focused with endpoint policy and patching
• Effective communicator with non-technical staff

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline and escalated IT support to end-users.
• Administer core business systems including Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central.
• Manage AD, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 user provisioning.
• Configure Group Policy and patch management for endpoints.
• Monitor networks, DNS/DHCP, VPN, and security settings.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on integrations.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell, Bash, and Power Automate.
