Job summary

Cinex Plastics Pty Ltd in Braeside, Victoria is seeking an experienced ICT Support Technician to maintain ICT systems, hardware and software across manufacturing, administration and customer service functions.

You will install, configure and update software, design and support computer networks, diagnose issues, and assist with website-related tasks, while communicating clearly with non-technical staff. This role requires hands-on problem solving and the ability to work across busy shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Networking or a related discipline.
Minimum one year of relevant experience in ICT technical support, including hardware and software troubleshooting, network support and user assistance.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to work effectively with employees across manufacturing, administration and other business functions.

Responsibilities

Determine appropriate software, hardware and ICT equipment requirements to resolve technical issues and support the operational needs of Cinex Plastics' manufacturing, administration and business functions.
Install, configure, download and update software and applications required across administrative, production, inventory, customer service and other business functions.
Implement, configure and maintain computer networks and related connectivity supporting the company's office and manufacturing operations.
Design, update and maintain the company's website and assist with resolving website-related technical issues.
Diagnose, repair, replace and maintain peripheral ICT equipment, including computers, terminals, printers, modems, scanners and other connected devices.
Monitor ICT systems and equipment, identify recurring technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions to improve reliability and minimise operational disruption.
