Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia in Victoria seeks a hands-on IT Support Technician to deliver first and second-level help for computer systems, software and hardware across our hospital and aged care sites. You will troubleshoot, monitor and restore devices connected to the network, providing high-quality service to staff.

With 3+ years' desktop support experience, you will bring strong PC hardware and networking skills, plus familiarity with AV systems, nurse call and telephony.

Qualifications

• Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Certificate IV in IT Support or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years in field engineering, desktop support or IT technical roles
• Strong PC hardware knowledge
• Good networking skills
• Experience supporting AV systems, nurse call, telephony and comms room infrastructure
• Must be able to commit to full‑time hours, including after‑hours on‑call requirements as detailed above

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second‑level technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues, both remotely and face‑to‑face
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and restore personal computers and devices connected to the network
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call roster
