Job summary

Greatland Corporation in Telfer, WA is seeking a Mechanical Technician to operate and maintain the hoisting system, dewatering, and ore handling equipment on a FIFO roster from Perth. The role requires a mechanical trade qualification and experience in mining environments, with SAP knowledge and the ability to develop JSEAs.

A manual WA driver's license is required; HR license is a plus. The successful candidate will work on underground and surface infrastructure, with training and safety

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification required with mining experience preferred.
• Experience developing JSEAs and implementing safety procedures.
• Basic SAP knowledge and ability to read maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Comply with site safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform maintenance activities in line with safety and operational requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards promptly.
• Execute preventative maintenance to required standards.
• Identify equipment faults and raise work requests for corrective action.
• Lead small teams on maintenance activities when required.
