Job summary

Randstad Digital seeks an Operational Technology Specialist for a FIFO role in Western Australia. You will ensure high availability for critical OT across autonomous mining systems, bridging field maintenance with Perth-based technology engineering teams.

You will lead incident and change management, perform RCA investigations, and collaborate with mobility and infrastructure crews to configure devices. A strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven hands on experience maintaining IT/OT infrastructure within heavy industrial or mining operations.
• Solid understanding of Fleet Management Systems (CAT MineStar or Modular) and industrial wireless technologies.
• Prior exposure to ITIL frameworks including incident, problem, and change management workflows.
• ACMA Open Cabling endorsement, High Risk Work Licence (WP/FL), or Cisco CCNA certifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Execute logical maintenance and troubleshooting across critical OT infrastructure.
• Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL) processes directly on site.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for site technology incidents.
• Work directly with mobile equipment and infrastructure crews to support physical device configurations and programming.
• Maintain active Field Leadership with a strict focus on Zero Harm and Critical Control Verification.
