Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and signage displays.

• Install, support and maintain IT hardware and software.
• Coordinate with vendors on quotations for setup, maintenance and repairs.

Job description

The IT Support Specialist provides technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, networks, and applications. This role includes but not limited to End Point Device/ Peripheral (e.g. Desktop, Laptop, Printer, Mobile Devices and Signage Display etc.) and Network Infrastructure and Peripheral Level 1 & Level 2 IT Support & Maintenance

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support services to ensure all computer systems are functioning properly such as file servers, POS terminals, CCTV, Internet connection, Synology, PA System, Wi-Fi, network infra, and VPN connection, etc.
• Install, support and maintain IT related hardware and software
• Support daily IT operation and liaise with business users & IT team.
• Liaise and negotiate with vendors or suppliers on quotation for setup, implementation, repair, and maintenance of IT hardware & software
• Maintain IT related contracts
• Analyze computer / IT problems reported and recommend corrective, preventive and improvement measures
• Maintain proper administration records of IT equipment inventory, software inventory, software licenses, network & other IT related information
• Provide training, guidance, and support to end users
• Coordinate IT related projects, from new/upgrades of system deployment to new site opening or renovations.
• Perform any ad hoc IT duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience preferably gained from sizable firms or multinational companies
• Solid experience in supporting Microsoft Windows, O365, AD.
• Solid experience in supporting Windows Server and Android Device
• Familiar with Windows operation systems and office applications
• Hands‑on experience in TCP/IP Networking, Basic Firewall, VPN, WAN/LAN network security
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Able to work independently and under pressure
