Job summary

Tech & Data People seeks an IT Support Officer to be the local face of IT support, handling hardware, software, and user inquiries with autonomy and a proactive approach.

You will collaborate with a remote IT team to ensure high service delivery, contribute to device provisioning, onboarding, and asset management, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience supporting end users in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with device deployment and endpoint management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printing, mobile devices, and connectivity issues.
• Act as the first point of contact for incidents, service requests, and user enquiries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral-related issues.
• Support device provisioning, deployment, and onboarding activities.
• Maintain asset registers, device inventories, and stock levels.
• Assist with endpoint management and user access administration.
• Work with a remote IT team to ensure high service delivery across the business.
• Escalate complex issues when required and follow through to resolution.

What You Will Be Doing
