Job summary

Regis Resources currently seeks an IT Support Officer to join the Corporate IT team in Perth. You will deliver first-line technical support to staff, troubleshoot hardware and software, manage the IT Support Hub and ensure secure, reliable systems. The role offers a proactive, customer-focused environment within a collaborative team.

You will help with onboarding/offboarding from an IT perspective and promote cybersecurity best practices across the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Level 1 IT Support, Service Desk or IT Helpdesk position.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on end-user support.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Maintain the IT Support Hub, log, categorise and monitor tickets through resolution.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and business applications.
• Assist with password resets, account access and general IT troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to specialist teams and communicate progress to users.
• Support deployment and setup of desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including meeting room tech.
