Job summary

Arsenault is seeking an IT Support Officer for a Victorian state government contract. You will provide level 1 desktop support and guide users through IT problems, while playing a key role in end-user computing priorities locally.

The role requires provisioning hardware for new starters, creating user guides, and managing IT assets and AV setups. Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams Telephony, MDM, Domino Notes, and Crestron hardware is valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Level 1 Desktop Support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams Telephony, Mobile Device Management, Domino Lotus Notes, Adobe Acrobat, Windows 10, and printing/print management.
• Proven ability to manage IT asset provisioning for new starters and create IT user guides and process documentation.
• Experience with asset management of desktops, mobile devices, SIM cards and peripherals.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot AV equipment and ensure conference room setups are ready.
• Experience raising IT requests with external providers and tracking tickets for quality checks.
• Knowledge of Crestron hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 desktop support and guide end users through IT problems.
• Assist with IT inductions, hardware provisioning for new starters and documentation.
• Support end-user computing priorities and represent IT at local levels.
• Raise requests with external IT provider and follow up on tickets to QA new devices.
• Manage assets including desktops, mobile devices, SIM cards and peripherals and maintain spreadsheets.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment and ensure conference rooms are set up correctly.

Your new role

You will primarily be responsible Providing level 1 desktop support.

You will bring a level of passion for assisting and guiding people through their IT problems as well as problem solving their queries.

You will play an important role as part of representing the IT at the local level focusing on end user computing priorities.

What you'll need to succeed

• To be successful in this role, you should possess demonstrated experience in Level 1 Desktop Support
• Have experience with Microsoft 365, Teams Telephony, Mobile Device Management, Domino Lotus Notes, Adobe Acrobat, Windows 10, Multifunction Devices with Follow Me Print and Case Management Systems preferable
• Managing New Starters with IT Hardware provisioning and performing IT Inductions and Compiling IT User Guides & Process Documentation
• Performing IT Asset Management of desktop hardware, mobile devices, SIM cards & peripherals
• Support & troubleshoot audio visual equipment including ensuring that rooms for Conferences are set up correctly with the audio visual equipment before use
• Raise IT requests with our external IT provider for account creation, following up tickets and ensuring quality assurance checks on new devices
• Asset management power chargers and head sets mobile phones and sim cards spreadsheet creation and monitoring for assets
• Experience with Crestron hardware preferable
