Job summary

Melbourne Racing Club is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team on a full‑time basis. You will provide hands‑on technical support across all MRC venues, offices and racecourses, covering workstations, POS, printers, phones and workplace technology.

You’ll troubleshoot issues, manage devices and user accounts, support Microsoft 365 services, and help keep teams connected and productive with on‑site support during raceday events and busy calendars.

Qualifications

• A relevant IT qualification or equivalent hands‑on experience in a Service Desk, Desktop Support or IT Support role.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and workplace technology environments
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, device deployment and endpoint management practices
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, user provisioning and access management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and modern device management concepts
• A sound understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and troubleshooting methodologies
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a methodical approach to resolving technical issues
• Experience supporting POS, AV, hospitality or event technology environments will be advantageous
• Driver’s Licence required

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical support across Melbourne Racing Club and associated venues, offices and racecourses.
• Install, configure and support Windows and Mac devices, POS systems, printers, phones and other IT technology.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and Intune.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues and provide on‑site support during events.
