Job summary

Melbourne Racing Club is seeking an experienced Azure and Power Platform Engineer to lead our Microsoft technology environment. You will design Azure integrations, build Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, and secure a robust hybrid IT setup for racing days and events.

You will report to the Head of Platforms and work with vendors, ensuring reliable, scalable integrations across critical business systems such as POS, Dynamics 365 and Business Central.

Qualifications

• Four or more years delivering Azure integrations and Power Platform solutions.
• Strong Azure administration experience: tenant configuration, security and cost governance.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, including data modelling.
• Hands-on experience building Azure integrations: Logic Apps, Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, API Management.
• Strong SQL/PostgreSQL and/or KQL skills with data-centric work.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Business Central.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-104, PL-400 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and support Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions.
• Build and manage Azure integrations using Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs and API Management.
• Administer and secure the Azure environment, including identity, access and cost governance.
• Manage data flows across Dataverse, SQL databases and MRC platforms.
• Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Establish Power Platform standards, ALM and CI/CD with Azure DevOps and IaC.
• Collaborate with platforms team and vendors on integrations and projects.
• Provide tech support for live race days and events during peak demand.
