Job summary

Compnow, a leading Australian technology provider, is seeking a Project Coordinator to bring structure and visibility to a growing portfolio of internal IT, Engineering, DevOps, proof of value initiatives. You’ll work closely with engineers, project stakeholders and the National IT Manager to coordinate schedules, capacity, and reporting.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement of coordination processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination across IT and engineering teams.
• Ability to manage tasks, deadlines and competing priorities in a structured environment.
• Experience working with engineers, IT specialists or other technical teams.
• Familiarity with ticketing and scheduling systems.
• Strong analytical skills with clear reporting from project and ticket data.
• Excellent organisation, administration and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to clarify new requests.
• Experience with ConnectWise is highly regarded.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, monday.com, process documentation or training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and scheduling across internal IT, Engineering, DevOps, proof of value and proof of concept initiatives.
• Schedule work across engineers’ calendars, maintaining visibility of capacity, priorities and any approved trade-offs.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, change documentation and other project records.
• Attend project meetings, coordinate actions and help prevent duplicated work across concurrent initiatives.
• Track project progress and escalate risks, issues and competing priorities to the National IT Manager.
• Coordinate Change Advisory Board activities and maintain an accurate, visible change calendar.
• Build analytics and reporting on ticket types, project activity, capacity and team workload.
• Ensure time entries, project information and ticket data are completed accurately and on time.
• Support stakeholder communication, meeting coordination, minutes and persistent follow-up of actions.
• Improve project coordination processes and take greater ownership of initiatives as your experience develops.
