Job summary

Seisma Consulting is seeking an IT Manager to own day-to-day IT operations and the internal technology environment. The role is hands-on, with responsibilities across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, networking and security controls.

You will work with staff across the organisation to identify issues, implement fixes and maintain secure, reliable IT systems. Strong emphasis on cyber security and security best practices will be central to the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Experience with Intune, Defender and endpoint management.
• Practical experience with Essential Eight, vulnerability remediation, patching and access controls.
• Strong networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall troubleshooting.
• Exposure to ISO 27001/ISMS and information security compliance.
• Experience managing IT assets, software licensing and tech environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and own issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for employees, providing hands-on technical support across hardware, software and network-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, access, permissions and licences across Microsoft 365 and related platforms.
• Coordinate deployment of laptops and devices with OS configurations, patches and security settings.
• Support the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of Essential Eight controls and vulnerability remediation.
• Identify, investigate and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities across endpoints and systems.
• Assist with security assessments, audits and ISO 27001/ISMS requirements as needed.
• Coordinate with MSPs and vendors to resolve escalations within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain IT procedures, documentation and security evidence, while seeking opportunities to automate.
