Manage user accounts, access, permissions and licences across Microsoft 365 and related platforms.
Create, modify and disable user accounts, reset passwords and manage access permissions as part of joiner, mover and leaver processes.
Support the implementation, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of Essential Eight security controls, including patch management, application control, secure configuration, MFA, access management and vulnerability remediation.
Identify, investigate and coordinate the remediation of vulnerabilities across endpoints, applications and systems.
Support endpoint security and monitoring using tools such as Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender.
Investigate, analyse and resolve IT incidents, service disruptions and outages, ensuring issues are documented and followed through to resolution.
Troubleshoot network and firewall issues by reviewing connectivity, traffic, rules, logs and physical/network configurations.
Install, configure and maintain workstations, software, drivers, operating systems and security updates.
Maintain accurate IT asset records and coordinate hardware procurement, allocation, replacement and lifecycle activities.
Manage software assets and licences, track usage, coordinate renewals and ensure licensing compliance.
Conduct regular system, endpoint and network monitoring to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Assist with security assessments, audits, documentation and information security requirements, including ISO 27001/ISMS where required.
Coordinate with the managed IT service provider and technology vendors, managing escalations and ensuring issues are resolved within appropriate timeframes.
Maintain IT procedures, technical documentation and security evidence, while identifying opportunities to improve and automate IT processes.
5+ years' experience in IT support, systems administration, infrastructure or a similar technical environment.
Experience working within a professional services environment, ideally with a background supporting accounting, legal or similar professional services organisations.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and/or Entra ID.
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender and endpoint management.
Practical experience with Essential Eight, vulnerability remediation, patching and access controls.
Strong networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, VPN and firewall troubleshooting.
Exposure to ISO 27001/ISMS and information security compliance.
Experience managing IT assets, software licensing and technology environments.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and take ownership through to resolution.
Relevant IT, Computer Science or Cyber Security qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
