Job summary

Dynamo Recruitment is seeking an IT Operations Manager for NSW to lead IT services, infrastructure and security. This role oversees internal and outsourced teams, driving service excellence and continuous improvement across ITIL processes and cybersecurity.

Ideal candidates hold an IT qualification with ITSM and 3+ years in leadership, plus hands-on Azure, M365 and Cisco knowledge. Experience in asset-heavy environments is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT.
• ITIL Foundation certified with proven ITSM experience.
• 3+ years in an IT leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Cisco and cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of Essential 8 and/or ISO 27001.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, team leadership and vendor management.
• Microsoft Security Fundamentals.
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods environments.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Infrastructure, Desktop Support, Networks, Azure, M365 and Cisco environments.
• Manage IT Service Management processes including Helpdesk, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset and Vendor Management.
• Drive cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Oversee hardware procurement, vendor relationships and technology lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation and registers.
• Partner with business leaders to align technology with strategic objectives.
• Manage budgets, technology roadmaps and service performance.
