Job summary

NTP Talent seeks an experienced Cloud & IT Operations Engineer to own and run the organisation's Azure/AWS cloud environments, M365 tenant, and internal IT ops. You will manage cloud infrastructure, identity and access, automation, security, and service desk oversight, driving documentation and self-service improvements.

You bring 3+ years in cloud/DevOps roles, strong Azure experience, scripting skills, and IaC with Bicep or Terraform, plus knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cost management.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps or IT operations.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across compute, networking, storage and cost management.
• Experience with Entra ID and RBAC, and Microsoft 365 administration is desirable.
• Scripting, IaC (Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines; strong documentation skills.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & IT Operations Engineer to take ownership of a technology organisation’s Azure and AWS cloud environments, Microsoft 365 tenant and internal IT operations.

This is a hands-on role covering cloud infrastructure, identity and access, M365 administration, automation, security implementation and service desk operations.

The Role

Reporting to the CTO, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation and improvement of the organisation’s cloud and internal IT environment, with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and access management.

You will work across cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automation, licensing and cost management, while implementing technical security requirements in partnership with the Security & Compliance function.

The role also includes oversight of the internal IT service desk, with a focus on improving documentation, automating recurring requests and introducing greater self-service across the business.

About You

You will have at least 3 years' experience across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps or IT operations, with strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.

You will also bring:
