Redox is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Officer to join our head office in Minto, South-West Sydney. You will provide first and second line support for desktops, laptops, printers, telephony, and network devices, triaging requests and logging tickets in Zendesk.

The role blends on-site and remote work after probation, offering a clear path to grow with a skilled IT team. Requirements include at least 1 year in an IT Helpdesk, tertiary IT qualification or relevant certifications, and solid

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in an IT Helpdesk role.
• Tertiary qualification/s in IT (University, TAFE or Microsoft/Cisco certification).
• Solid working knowledge of the latest Microsoft technologies and platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and monitor helpdesk queues.
• Triage requests, provide first/second line support.
• Escalate faults to senior engineers or external contractors.
• Log, update and close tickets in Zendesk.
• Perform user adds/moves/changes in IT systems.
• Install, maintain and monitor operating systems and software.
• Assist with IT procurement and asset/license records.
• Write technical documentation and how-to guides.
