Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an IT End User Computing & End User Services Operations Specialist to lead Citrix platform upgrades, plan VMware lifecycle upgrades, and perform Hyper-V modernization. This is a temporary contract until mid-2027 with a hybrid working environment, based in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in Infrastructure/EUC, proven experience delivering brownfield upgrades, strong stakeholder engagement, and ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining BAU

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Infrastructure/EUC or Modern Workplace environments.
• Proven experience delivering brownfield infrastructure upgrades and transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills.
• Experience tackling technical debt and modernising legacy environments.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Citrix platform upgrades and migrations across enterprise environments.
• Plan and execute VMware infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Perform Hyper-V upgrades and platform modernisation projects.
• Design and implement Microsoft Entra ID Cloud Sync/Cloud Connect deployments.
• Support hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Deliver infrastructure refresh and transformation projects while maintaining BAU operations.
• Conduct health checks, capacity planning, and technical assessments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to ensure project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Level 2–3 support when required.

• Lead and deliver Citrix platform upgrades and migrations across enterprise environments.
• Plan and execute VMware infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle management, and optimisation activities.
• Perform Hyper-V upgrades and platform modernisation projects.
• Design and implement Microsoft Entra ID Cloud Sync / Cloud Connect deployments and identity modernisation initiatives.
• Support hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure refresh and transformation projects while maintaining BAU operations.
• Conduct health checks, capacity planning, and technical assessments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
